    Ministerial Round Table regarding Tourism as a Tool for Development

    Brazil's Ministry of Tourism and the World Tourism Organization invited the Tourism Ministers and associations representing the sector in Latin America to discuss national public sector policies as a tool for development, in particular economic growth, social inclusion, job creation, poverty reduction and training in relation to the ODS 8 strategy - Decent Employment and Economic Growth, which defines, as one of its goals for 2030, the development and implementation of policies aimed at promoting sustainable tourism that creates jobs and promotes local culture and products.
